Client Need:
Car crashes are the #1 killer of teens in America today.
Car crashes are the #1 killer of teens in America today.
In response to this epidemic, Allstate began a campaign to pass a set of laws that would help prevent teen driving deaths - The STANDUP Act. But first they needed a way to generate support for the cause.
Creative Solution:
The STANDUP Act microsite helped lawmakers make an informed decision by providing information on the issue. Targeted web banners delivered the correct audience to the site.

To rally the social media community, a Facebook event was created. During Blackout Week, Facebook members were invited, via social media and print ads, to black-out their profile images in a show of support.
Underscoring all of this was a 32-page book, delivered to the desk of every lawmaker in Congress, ensuing that the issue -- and our proposed solution -- remained top of mind.
The Result:
In just a few months, Allstate’s Facebook fan base grew to 233k...
And in 2012, President Obama signed the Transportation Reauthorization bill into law including many of the STANDUP Act’s recommended mandates.
